Rev. Dr. Owusu-Ansah Ordained Bishop

Kumasi, April 8, GNA - Reverend Dr. Julius Kwame Owusu-Ansah, Founder and Leader of the Calvary Believers Church International, was on Sunday ordained Bishop of the Church at Suame in Kumasi. The officiating clergy was led by Bishop Dr. Robert Bartlett Junior, Presiding Bishop of the Living Waters Ministries International Worldwide.

Before the prayer and consecration ceremony which were witnessed by over 3,000 local and foreign members of the Church, traditional rulers and community leaders, Pastors and Leaders of the Church testified to the worthiness of the Bishop. Rev Owusu-Ansah holds licentiate in Theology and Bachelor and Doctor of Divinity from Shiloh Ecclesiastical Bible College in the United Kingdom. In a message, Bishop Bartlett said no one can give peace on earth except Jesus Christ and stressed the need for Christians to protect that holy name and his workers at all levels. He underscored the second coming of Christ and indicated that before he comes, God is creating proper governance in his Church and in the communities.

Speaking to reporters, Bishop Owusu-Ansah stressed the need for people in God's Ministry to be humble.

"No life is bad to God," he said, stressing that whoever is called to his ministry faces challenges, tribulations and perils but in the end the person should have faith in God.

He called for peace and unity in the country adding that Ghana is for God.
