Prophet prophesies peaceful elections in December

Prophet Francis Kwarteng, General Overseer of House of Power Ministries International, has prophesied that the December 7 Election would be “free from violence and bloodshed against the prediction of doomsayers.”

He warned that anybody who would allow him or herself to be used to foment trouble during the elections could provoke and attract the wrath and anger of God; because the Lord’s hands and eyes are on the nation.

Prophet Kwarteng was speaking at the close of a healing crusade, held at the Jubilee Park in Sunyani.

He said that a revelation from the Lord depicted someone being held in chains, “upon whose shoulders all the mayhem and violence were to emanate from and was led into a pit outside the land.”

Prophet Kwarteng said peace would prevail before, during and after the elections, and asked the authorities to channel resources into supporting men of God to intercede on behalf of the nation.

“It is a known fact in Ghana, for instance, that most of the people who singly organise concerts for peace end up misusing the monies and most at times spend lavishly on all sorts of things.

“But the issue of peace is a spiritual thing. If violence will break, it happens in the realm of the spirit before it manifests in the physical. Don’t misunderstand me, although peace campaigns are good, they are not the most important here. There’s the need for more prayers, which is more of a spiritual thing than organizing peace rallies with little effect”, he said.

Prophet Kwarteng said that God had a special purpose for Ghana and was keen in fulfilling all promises and would not look on for the nation to be plunged into chaos.**
