Presbyterian Church appeals for re-opening of JHS

Bolgatanga, July 27, GNA - The Presbyterian Church in the Bolgatanga Municipality on Wednesday appealed to the Ghana Education Service to re-ope= n the Presbyterian Junior High School (JHS) in Bolgatanga.

Reverend Richard Kumah, Pastor in-charge of the Church, made the appea= l at a meeting with the Bolgatanga Municipal Education Directorate. He said the church had observed with dismay the plight of the Presbyterian Primary school's pupils completing Primary six without getti= ng a JHS to attend. He said when the church gets the nod to re-open its JHS a new block will be built to house the students.

He said two classrooms were available to accommodate the first batch o= f 48 pupils from primary six to JHS one. He said he was happy with the partnership of the church and GES.
