Power Embassy Church launches "A Night to Remember" programme

Accra, Feb. 24, GNA - Mr George Edem Ankora, Public Relations Officer of the Power Embassy Church International, has called on the political parties to rally behind the ruling government to ensure national development.

Mr Ankora said it was only through unity of purpose and the zeal to serve one's nation other than self that Ghanaians could make a meaningful contribution to national reconstruction. He made the call at the launch of "A Night to Remember 2010" in Accra on Wednesday.

The event, which aims at praying for God's guidance, peace and unity for the nation and the spiritual well-being of participants, would be held on Friday, February 26.

It is on the theme: "Destroying Family Altars." Mr Ankora called on religious leaders to use the pulpit to educate their members on government's policies and programmes. He urged Ghanaians to have faith in the Lord to enable them have a very enjoyable lives. The Public Relations Officer also advised the youth to take their education seriously in order to achieve their avowed aims in life.
