Pastor urges Christians to assist the marginalized

Wenchi (B/A) Dec. 19, GNA 96 Pastor Joseph Nsowaah of the Apostles Continuation Church at Wenchi in Brong Ahafo has urged Christians to extend love and assistance to the marginalized during the Christmas festivities.

He was addressing the audience at a 91Gospel rock show' he organized to raise funds towards the upkeep of inmates of Rescue Orphanage Home at Wenchi.

=93True Christianity is when one loves his/her neighbour as oneself, have fellow feeling for the person and treat others equally without discrimination=94, Pastor Nsowaah said.

He deplored the attitude of some Christian parents who focus attention on only their children and neglect their step children, saying, people with such attitude were not doing the will of God. Pastor Nsowaah appealed to the people to support the management of the home to give utmost care to the children. He called on religious bodies to pray against road accidents during the yuletide.
