NDC wishes Muslims a successful Ramadan

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is wishing Muslims in Ghana and the world over Ramadan Kareem.

A statement signed by the party’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia stated that “on the occasion of the sighting of the moon of Ramadan, the NDC sends its best wishes to all Muslims and pray that Almighty Allah will grant to you the strength and dedication to go through this fasting successful.”

The party described the Holy month “as a month of forgiveness, unity, peace, and brotherliness. We urge the nation to rally behind Muslims on this special month as they seek the face of Allah for the socio-economic and political development of the country.”

The NDC therefore urged all Muslims to use the occasion to “glorify the Almighty Allah for giving us life and peaceful country, Ghana.

We believe and hope that your fasting, prayers and night tahajud will be accepted by Almighty Allah and through that bless our homeland Ghana.”
