MDCC members asked to reconcile

Mozano (C/R), Sept. 8, GNA - Reverend James K. Addae, Superintendent Minister, in charge of the Mozama Disco Christo Church (MDCC), has appealed to all followers of the church to reconcile, and let love, unity, truth, understanding and perfect peace, upon which the MDCC was founded, to prevail.

Rev Addae was preaching on the theme: "Reconciliation - a Tool for Development" at the Jubilee Temple, to climax the 2010 annual peace festival of the MDCC.

He said; "the devil had wanted to spoil MDCC but the Lord had loosened the church, so let us repent and go back to our maker in unity."

He said Jesus has sent his messengers to relieve the church, "so let us extend this good news to our various stations and bear good fruits".

Rev Addae prayed for God guidance, blessing and prosperity for all, especially the nine-member Committee, headed by Nana Abokuma Atta IX, Chief of Gomoa Dasum, through whose efforts the festival successful held.

The Chairman in his closing remarks, thanked all gathered at the camp, for responding favourably and peacefully to celebrate the festival that had been suspended over the past eight years, as a result of the crisis.

Nana Atta charged all present to be more committed to the church and donate in cash and in kind, and that, they should keep the light burning forever.

He urged the church members, who may have been offended in the course of the work of the Committee, to forgive the committee members and "let us move forward to meet our maker, lets forget the past and start building on a new note".
