Lord, Have Merci upon us

LORD,HAVE MERCI UPON US!!!!!.

Achievements are the results of the effort, so lets forget about efforts without results.

I am sure you have heard some say,“I am working out my faith” and then years go by and yet nothing is happening.“I just know God is doing something in me, wait and see my progress” “I am still praying for a job, God will come true for me one day”

“I did my best now let God do the rest” …Well, how do you know you did your best? Listen, its mostly that you did what you thought you could only manage doing, but trust me, in you there is more that you are capable of doing. Let me educate you what I do, I DO EVERYTHING IN GOD'S ABILITY,because now His Spirit is in me, and because of that, I succeed in producing something meaningful that helps a lots of people.

You see, all these statements that people produce are not bad at all, but some have missed used them to hide their laziness and lack of faith [with actions]. So when they say it, it sounds so good that you don't bother asking them any more questions.

You can find a brother without food in his home for 3 days and then you ask, “Brother what is happening here?” and he goes like, “it is well, I am working out my faith?” then mostly you don't continue with that topic since he has 'spiritualized' his challenges. But sometimes what that person needs is assistance from you; it might just be lack of wisdom or faith. If you are the one who always gives these nice faith filed statements as excuses and then you don't yield results then you need help, and you better acknowledge it, otherwise you will be in that situation for a lot longer.

First and foremost you might need to go back to the scriptures to learn what God says about your situation. Poverty & sickness for example are around a lot of people because of lack of knowledge, so when asked, they build up themselves and say, “God is humbling me.” Wow, doesn't that sound nice? But is it true? God wants us to reflect his glory. Now you don't reflect God's glory by continuing to postpone the glory. Make things happen, we want to testify now,not just making empty confessions that don't yield results, make them faith filled confessions.

Do not be a man or a woman who like to tell stories, be the one who makes things done and testifies. Don't be just promising to do this and that. Let us see the word at work in you.

A lot of men of God have addressed the issue of “becoming a word doer [not just a hearer].” but I personally believe Dr. Zakir Naik was the one who so much gave the emphasis of how unproductive it is just to hear the word and not apply it. This is one of the greatest challenges in a lot of people.They just get excited when the word has come to them, “ but it's all about the application like the phone.” –The truth. Let me give you an example, last year was the year of the Word of God, 12 good months, 365 blessed days. Now ask yourself, “What did I do in line with the word I received for last year?” If the answer is not good enough, then how do you expect the word to work for you? This is our year of Favor,this is our month of Advancing. Seriously, I mean if you get these revelations as they are, surely you will not remain the same. You will testify daily.

How can you be facing and hindered by the same challenges from last year? The same excuses you are giving now, you have been giving for the past 2 years; “Oh sorry, I had no transport” , “I can't pay my anything; otherwise I will not pay my rent”,“Sorry I had no money for airtime”,“I couldn't make it, I usually have a bad headache in the afternoons”.

Seriously, I would want to know what you do when the word is being taught, and then I would love to know what you do with that word taught to your spirit, that is if it gets to your spirit. BROTHERS AND SISTERS,THIS WORD WORKS!!,that is not just a mere statement, rather it is truth. So let it work for you.

I for one don't want to go to heaven, and give God the speech that, “I tried, I put all my efforts only that it did not work out”… I want to stand before God and say, “Yes Almighty, I did as you requested,and here are the results.” Go ahead and produce results in your academic life, business, at work, in your family, in your world.

So how do you do it, put your faith to work; make faith filled confessions; invest your time, be patient and diligently put in your hard working efforts.
