God will cut short Okoe Vanderpuije’s political lifespan - Dr. Brefo

A directive from the Accra Metropolitan Assembly to ban churches from worshiping in classrooms has irked the Chancellor for Peristrofi World Honorary International Award; Dr. Divine Brefo.

According to the chancellor, Okoe Vanderpuije is now behaving like his “limited” powers could equal that of the Almighty God whose power is ultimate.

Dr. Brefo established that if more churches should spring up, deviant behaviours in the society would be minimized and this would help the nation. “Christians who use classrooms for their service renovate the facility, pay rent advance in addition and even pay for security”, he said.

This makes his assertion different from that of Dr. Okoe Vanderpuije, who has vowed to prevent churches in the metropolis from worshiping in classrooms within public basic schools.

He went on to remind Okoe Vanderpuije that he has a political lifespan which wouldn’t go beyond eight years and this should inform him to be humble in life.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Dr. Divine Brefo noted that “I heard one thing that Okoe Vanderpuije is trying to ban people who are worshiping from classrooms. Who are you Okoe Vanderpuije to banish Christians from worshiping... power belongs to the Lord.”

“Okoe Vanderpuije has a lifespan; it is either four or eight years and after that he would be no more. He should humble himself and respect Christians”.

He went on to chastise the AMA boss for starting a war he would eventually loss. He observed that even the current president of Ghana has no authority to ban Christians from worshiping in classrooms let alone his appointee. He charged people not to read political meanings into his assertion noting that he would praise the AMA boss if he came out with a commendable initiative.
