Global Evangelical Church holds New Year Service

Accra, Jan. 2, GNA - Reverend Felix Mensah Agbo, Accra Presbytery Clerk of the Global Evangelical Church, has called on Ghanaians to let their utterances promote peace and unity for the development of the country as we enter the New Year. He said peace and unity plays a very important role in the socio-economic development of every nation and that without it, there would be no progress.

Rev. Agbo made the call when preaching the sermon at the Tesano branch of the church at the New Year Service on Thursday. He said 'Ghana is a peaceful country and therefore the people must live in peace, which is a vital tool for development'. Rev. Agbo advised the youth not to allow themselves to be used as agents to derail the peace the country was enjoying. He charged Ghanaians to open a new chapter by refraining from acts which hinder national development.

The Accra Presbytery Clerk thanked Ghanaians for exercising their franchise in a peaceful manner and expressed the hope that the same trend would be followed in future elections.
