Jasikan (V/R), Nov. 26, GNA - The Global Evangelical Church has presented a cheque for 1,000 Ghana cedis to the Bueman Senior High School in Jasikan following a fire outbreak in one of its Boys' Dormitories.

Right Reverend Dr E.K . Gborzoe, Moderator of the Church who made the presentation said it was a gesture of goodwill to further strengthen the relationship between the church and the School. He said the amount was the church's contribution to help in repairing the damage caused and to support students who lost their belongings during the fire outbreak. Rt. Rev. Gbordzoe expressed the church's happiness in acquiring choir robes for the school at a cost of 600 Ghana cedis last December adding that the youth branch of the church also donated another 600 Ghana cedis to the school.

Mr Gordon Kofi Ansah, Assistant Headmaster (Academic) of the School who received the cheque thanked the church for the assistance. He said the school looked up to the church to assist in the moral development of the students in order to prepare them for selfless service to the nation.
