Ghanaian Christians celebrate Easter

Accra, April 24, GNA - Ghanaian Christians today joined their counterparts throughout the world to celebrate Easter, the day God through His Holy Spirit resurrected Jesus Christ from the dead about 2,000 years ago, with church services and conventions. Preaching the sermon at the Ghana Police Church in Accra, the Chaplain=96General the Very Reverend Superintendent Frank D. Twum-Baah said the truth of the resurrection of Jesus Christ set Christianity apart from all other religious system. This is because Jesus is alive. "Without the resurrection there will be no basis for Christianity. Because He rose from the dead we have the assurance of forgiveness of our sins and of eternal life.
