The General overseer and head pastor of the Jesus Mission International Ministries, Rev. Dr. Jonathan Essel, has indicated that Ghana will soon become an Islamic state following the current trend of Christianity.

Speaking in an interview with Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said, this is not a spiritual decoded prophetic message but it follows an assessment of the current trend in the religion of Christianity.

He said men of God are no longer preaching the gospel of salvation but rather focusing on the message of success principles. He said subjects that are taught in our universities for accountants and bankers, are what we see in our churches today.

‘’The subjects thought in our administration schools, are what we see being preached in our churches. Success principles which professors and emeritus teaches in our schools, have found its way in our churches instead of the message of salvation. So in all Christians now lack understanding of Christianity and when they are faced with problems, they easily convert to other faiths or religion. Take a look at what is going on; there are some areas you would not be allowed to put a church but you would be allowed to build a mosque. And so if you analyse all these things, you can conclude that, today people are no longer interested in Christianity.’’

He charged Christians not to give up their faith but keep on doing what the bible mandated us to do and spread the word of Christ, preach the salvation of Christ to win more souls for the kingdom. He also used the opportunity to advise Christians to make the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Christ meaningful and stop engaging in immoral acts.

The death of Christ he stressed, ''is spiritual and an opportunity to renew our relationship with God hence, Christians should continue to remain faithful and holy to God.''

The second coming of Christ he warned will soon come hence, Ghanaians should look surrender and accept Christ as their Lord and personal saviour.

Ghana he concluded would not benefit from the blessing goodness of God if we do not seek him.
