Ghana Seventh Day Sabbath Churches hold meeting

Accra, Aug. 5, GNA-Apostle Kadmiel Emmanuel Haworth Agbalanyo, Founder of the Seventh Day Church of Theocracy, has called on political leaders to let their utterances promote peace and national unity in the country. He said unity played a very important role in the socio-economic development of every nation and that they should therefore help to champion that cause.

Apostle Agbalanyo made the call at a meeting of Ghana Seventh Day Sabbath Churches in Accra on Tuesday. The aim of the meeting was to form one association which will champion the cause, of unity and development within the churches. Apostle Agbalanyo said the situation where political parties go after each others' throat at some political rallies do not promote unity and development the country was yearning for. He therefore charged Ghanaians to use this year's elections as a test case for other countries to emulate. "The elections in some countries in recent times had plunged them into total confusion" he said, adding that, no country would develop in such a situation. The Founder asked the youth to lead exemplary lives and abstain from pre-marital sex which is the safer way of protecting themselves from the HIV/AIDS. He advised the gathering to refrain from acts which would hinder their developmental agenda.
