Eagle Faith Ministries launches anniversary

Reverend Bright Israel Fiatepe, General Overseer of the Eagle Faith Ministries, has called on Ghanaians to demonstrate a high level of tolerance to ensure peace in the country.

Rev. Fiatepe made the call at the launch of the 5th anniversary celebration of the church at Adenta, near Accra on Wednesday.

The two-week celebration is on the theme: “The Advancing of the Eagle.”

Some of the activities planned for the anniversary are free eye screening services, revival, fasting and prayers, consecration of deacons and elders, licensing of ministers and ordination.

Rev. Fiatepe said the church which was established in 2009 with seven members, now has a membership of 300.

On social responsibility, he said the church is working out plans to support poor and needy persons in the community to pursue education.

The General Overseer urged the youth to desist from the “get-rich-quick” attitude and abide by the word of God to enable them to achieve their set goals.

He advised religious leaders to preach the unadulterated word of God to win more souls for Christ and ensure that their conducts are acceptable to the society.

Rev. Fiatepe commended Ghanaians for the achievements under democratic rule, saying; “as long as peaceful and political processes survive, we can all look forward for better times”.
