Don’t pay heed to false prophecies - Pastor

An acclaimed messenger of God, Onyame Somafo Yaw has advised Ghanaians, especially political leaders not to give heed to prophecies given by some so-called men of God that the country would be attacked by extremists, as according to him, some of these men of God give prophecies just to gain popularity.

Making reference to a recent prophecy by the well-known Nigerian preacher, Prophet T.B. Joshua, that Ghana would be attacked by extremists group which the prophet later came out to say that God has averted the intended attack, Onyame Somafo Yaw described such prophecy as a hoax.

According to him, despite the economic challenges facing the country, Ghana remains one of the most peaceful countries in the world and a nation after the heart of God.

Onyame Somafo Yaw, who spoke with News Ghana, lamented over the numerous prophecies given by some men of God in the country, but which he said fails to come to pass.

He said such men of God only take advantage of situations to give prophecies that are not from God, but rather create fear and panic among the people.
