Don‘t marry a poor man - Prophet Kobi to women

Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi

The founder and leader of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has asked all single women not to marry poor men.

According to the Prophet, women who marry poor men do so out of ignorance adding that such practice should not be entertained " all women should desist from doing so"

Prophet Kobi who made this known in an interview with Accra based Agoo TV, said men are supposed to be the head of their families and therefore must provide for the family.

“Every man is the head of the family and as a head; you must provide everything for the family. If a man is not financially sound, he must not be in any relationship especially marriage or any other relationship at the first place.”

According to him, women are precious and must be kept as such, adding that, the increasing rate of divorce in the country is because women make the wrong choices in choosing a husband.

“How can you marry a man who can’t feed you three times a day? Women are there to serve and not otherwise, so I urge every woman to be a servant and not a slave.”he added

The prophet said, marriage is a companionship and an institution of understanding, so if there is no understanding, then the marriage won’t work.

“Marriage is an institution and it is about understanding each other, so if there is no understanding between the two, then the marriage won’t work. Wives must be very submissive to their husbands if they want a fruitful and lasting marriage because husbands are the head of the family.”

Prophet Kobi advised women to be very honest to their men and come clear when it comes to sex since it plays a pivotal role in every relationship.

“Sex is very important, thus every woman must be honest and clear with her man, and you should tell him whether you are big or small because sex plays a high pivotal role in every relationship”

He however advised men to be financially sound before going in for someone’s daughter to marry.
