The Daughters of Zion Fellowship International (DOZIF), an interdenominational Christian women’s organisation, visited the Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital in Accra on Thursday, 12th June 2025, as part of its 25th Anniversary (Silver Jubilee) celebrations.

Founded with a mission to nurture godly women through Scripture, prayer, and Christian service, DOZIF’s activities are rooted in community outreach and spiritual growth. The fellowship, headquartered at Awoshie in Accra on the premises of Bible Hour Ministries International, is also committed to empowering women across various fields with excellence and godly values.

To mark the milestone, DOZIF members donated a range of essential items to support the hospital’s operations and brighten the lives of the children. Items included hospital supplies such as X-ray materials, syringes, prostate surgery tools, and personal protective equipment (PPEs).

These were complemented by children’s face masks, toiletries, toys, and snacks. A portion of the medical items was donated by Families of Today for Tomorrow, a Canada-based NGO with operations in Ghana.

“This is not just a donation, it’s a message of love, faith, and hope to these young ones,” said Rev. Mrs. Agnes Oware, Founder and President of DOZIF, during the presentation ceremony.

“As we celebrate 25 years of God’s faithfulness, we want our legacy to reflect compassion and service.”

The items were received by the hospital’s administrator, George Boakye Yiadom, who expressed appreciation for the timely support.

“These supplies will go a long way in enhancing the care we provide. We are truly grateful to DOZIF for remembering us,” he noted.

Also present was Rockson Obeng, the hospital’s Public Relations Manager.

Following the donation, members of the fellowship visited children in the wards, offering prayers and distributing snacks and toys. “It was deeply moving,” one DOZIF member remarked.

“Seeing the children smile reminded us why service is central to our walk with God."
