Creationism a threat to what Scriptures....

says about Creation-Beware! – By Charles H Ampong

Evolutionists are growing bolder and more adamant like never before as they are coming up with all sorts of theories compositely called “creationism” to explain creation. The lies of evolution is taking a negative deeper toll on the faith of some Christians and it is time true ministers of God come out and preach the truth regarding creation. Recently, there was an assertion of the discovery of the so-called “God Particle” which Physicists say is complemental to the “Big Bang Theory” the more popular version of evolution cosmology. By this discovery, they believe they are concretizing their naturalist explanation on the origin of the Universe. Obviously, these scientists are using science to invalidate what scripture says about God being the creator and who God is. They would like to leave God out of the equation of creation. This is erroneous, deceptive, distractive and destructive. Undoubtedly, no amount of science can explain or refute what the bible says about this earth and the universe. In fact it makes no sense to use science to explain scripture because scripture (the Word) is what created all things including science. In Genesis 1:1, the bible says “In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth so where is the documentation that God’s designed creation of the Universe conforms to man’s “big bang theory” regarding the origin of the universe. Again in Genesis 2:1-2, the bible says the Heavens and the Earth and all that is in it were completed in seven days. Contrarily, the big bang theory talks about millions of years with regards to its version of the formation of the Universe. There are some funny philosophers and Earth Scientists like John Hawkings who even hypothesize that God did not create the Universe and that the earth invented itself and continues to reinvent in support of the Big bang theory and the Pangaea theory. Once again, these theories are indeed far from reality. The big bang theory contains mixed explanations regarding the origin of the Universe and its intended end. According to big band theory, the entire universe was at one time confined to a dense, hot, super massive ball and about 14 billion years ago, a cataclysmic explosion occurred, hurling this material in all directions. It is believed that the injected mass of gas cooled and condensed, forming the stars. With regards to the end of the Universe, it is hypothesized that the universe is expanding and that this expansion will continue until the entire stars die and the process of reinvention of the Universe will take place.
On the other hand, scripture talks about design of the universe by God’s power and out of things that never existed as against science hypothesizing the formation of the Universe out of things that already existed. The bible says “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:1-2). If the earth was void then it means there was absolutely nothing in existence and God had to call those things that did not exist to come into existence. Ultimately, this should invalidate and falsify cosmologist and scientist claims about the formation of the earth from pre-existing gas and dust cloud. The bible goes on to say that the face of the earth was covered with water and God caused the dry land to appear by causing the waters to gather into one place. The waters He called the seas and the dry land the Earth. Cosmologist and other scientists may argue this is in line with the “Pangaea theory” assertion on the formation of the continents. The “Pangaea theory” primarily says that the continents (as we have today) were together as one (supercontinent) surrounded by water about two million years ago. Then as a result of internal forces whose origin cannot be explained the supercontinent split up into different parts and were drifted into their present positions by another force which also cannot be explained. It is believed that Africa and South America were together at one time and they split into their current positions and that the west coast of Africa can fit into the east coast of South America with few overlaps. To disapprove this, scripture says specifically in Genesis 1:9, that after God created the sky, He caused the waters under the sky to gather into one place and dry ground to appear which He called land.
In fact all these naturalistic ideologies shows scientists are trying to explain creation with baseless phenomenon and lies and we need to be careful. Such ideologies must be classified as false doctrines. As a matter of fact, there is substantial disparity between creation science and scripture explications of these issues so there is no need for contention. Whilst scripture is absolutely right about creation science is completely wrong.
Next, according to the bible, God has a covenant with day and night (Jeremiah 33:20) and He will ensure that it follows what He created it to be and not what science says. In fact, God likens His covenant with day and night to His covenant with David to establish him. In Jeremiah 33:19-26, God says if you can break His covenant with day and night so that they do not follow the fixed laws of heaven and earth, then you can break His covenant with David to establish him. This shows there are some fixed laws by God controlling the heavens and the earth which science cannot explain except to make serious denigration about God the creator. There are deep spiritual laws or ordinances or decrees involved in the creation which only God knows and science cannot explain. Day and night operate based on God’s ordinances or decrees and not based on man’s hypothesis.
Also, Scientists may argue that the Sun is one of the stars which gives off light through the burning of clouds of dust and gases (hydrogen and helium predominantly) at its surface using gravitational energy and high pressure subsequently converting nuclear energy to heat energy to give light to the earth (phenomenon also called the nebular theory). But the record remains that God created the stars and the Sun’s light to rule the day and to separate day from night. It is deceptive to think that the Sun is one of the stars and that it has five billion years to live before it dies when the times for creation are set by God and not man. Man has set the times based on scientific theory and this has no correlation with reality of God’s creation and calendar. God operates on different time table from man and the secrets of His creation cannot be discerned by man. Just as men can’t predict the future so they cannot explain the origin. No scientific hypothesis can explain how creation came into being and how it operates now and what will happen in future. No scientific hypothesis can explain the origin of man and reproduction of man from sperms of humans. Evolution theory cannot do it. Stem cells may try to investigate and use embryos for healing of diseases or surgical tendencies and reproduction but this may be an insult to the creator God if reasonable boundaries for such scientific pursuits are not. In fact proponents of stem cell technology are walking on a subtle ideology. Proponents of Science’s cutting edge cannot use technology to expatiate what God has created.
