Church of Pentecost opens new assembly at Oyibi

Oyibi (GAR), May 16, GNA - The Reverend Stephen Ebbah, Dodowa District Head of the Church of Pentecost has called on Ghanaians to be content with what they have.

This he said would enable them to desist from envying one another and promote peace and unity for development. Rev. Ebbah made the call at the opening of Good News Assembly of the Church at Oyibi near Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region on Sunday. This brings to 12, the number of assemblies so far opened in the District.

Rev. Ebbah called on the youth to avoid the get-rich-quick attitude which had gripped the society.

He urged them to quietly wait on the Lord to supply their needs according to his abundant riches.

Nii Boye Okansha VI, Chief of Oyibi urged Ghanaians to open a new chapter by refraining from acts which hinder national development. He said acts such as indiscipline, armed robbery and other anti-social vices are derailing the country's development. Nii Okansha called for unity and peace among political parties to ensure national transformation.

He expressed the hope that the opening of the church would enable the community to propagate the gospel and win more souls for Christ. Elder Forster Boateng, Head of the newly-opened assembly advised the members to be selfless and support him to enable him discharge his duties to the glory of God. 16 May 10
