The Reverend Father Michael Apaloo, the Assistant Priest of St Peter's Catholic Church, Ngleshie Amanfro in the Central Region, has urged Christians to continue to trust the Lord to provide their spiritual and physical needs.

He said: “God is the provider of live and all that we need in life and Christians must believe in Him always to experience the grace of God in their lives”.

Rev. Fr. Apaloo, therefore, charged Christians to be prayerful and desist from moving from one to another for “consultations.”

Preaching at the 2017 Watch Night Service on the theme: “Be Still and Know I Am God,” he urged Christians to be still and do things one at a time and thrust God for breakthroughs.

He said every Christian must resolved to take his prayer line seriously in the New Year and keep trusting in God to do the rest.

“Do not doubt the Lord your God…be persistent and prayerful and He is the just God to honour all your needs.

“He will continue to do something good in your lives,” he said.

Rev. Fr. Apaloo later led the Church to worship and sing praises to usher in the New Year.

Some of the Church members, who spoke to the Ghana News Agency, were full of praises and thanked God for guarding them into a New Year.
