Christians should wage war against social vices- Bishop Afari

Deasempah (B/A) Oct. 15, GNA - Bishop Yeboah Afari, Head Pastor of Nyame Tease Prayer Camp, at Deasempah in Techiman Municipality has reminded Christians that it is their responsibility to ensure that they eliminate all form of vices in society.

Bishop Afari was preaching at the end of a four-day convention of the church at Deasempah.

The convention, which was on the theme: "Unity and Christian lifestyle in the society", was attended by more than 2,500 members. He expressed regret that some Christians had submitted themselves to the power of darkness and were indulging in various vices such as corruption, sexual immorality, alcoholism and drug abuse. Bishop Afari called on Christians to allow the death of Christ, which brought love, unity and peace unto the world to inspire Ghanaians to live in stability and ensure development.

He asked Ghanaians to bury their political differences and live in peace to enhance national development, saying "since the elections are over, Ghanaians should help the government to build the nation irrespective of one's political colour".
