Christians in the country have been urged to carry the cross of Jesus Christ with a convincing message of his love to win more souls into christiandom.

Reverend Eric Amoako Agyemang, Ashaiman Area Secretary, Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), in a sermon on Good Friday, stated that many Christians do not have definite messages to woo more souls to God's Kingdom.

Reverend Agyemang, noted that, the shameful death of Jesus Christ on the cross to save humanity was enough evidence to prove to the world that Jesus Christ was the saviour of the world.

He also advised Christians to emulate the life of Christ, adding that Jesus Christ was an epitome of humility, therefore, Christians must be humble and know their worth in the kingdom of God.

According to him, Christians have failed to uphold their integrity because of their personal and material gains.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Apostle David Hagan Okyere, Ashaiman Area Apostle of CACI, said Christians must be moderate and reflective as they celebrate the Easter Season.

Apostle Okyere stated that Christians owed it a duty to sacrifice their personal comfort for the country as Christ did for humanity.

He also called on Christians to take sanitation issues very serious by cleaning their environment reminding them that Jesus Christ did not only take away the sins of mankind but also healed many from their various sickness.

The 2019 Easter Convention of the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) was on the theme, "Occupy till I come, Luke 19 vs 13".
