Christians asked to embrace national programmes

Dunkwa-On-Offin (C/R), Aug. 29, GNA - Rev Dr Daniel Tamakloe Doe, General Overseer of the New Jerusalem Healing Church, has urged Christians not only to commit themselves to church activities but also to embrace national development. He said this when preaching a special sermon for 250 youth at the church's headquarters at Bungalow in Dunkwa-On-Offin. The activity was also used to end a day's revival program, which is organised monthly for the Newman Estate at Dunkwa-On-Offin, Odobeng and the Akim Oda branches. Rev Doe called on people who have been appointed to high offices by th= e government to discharge their functions diligently. Rev Doe said truth was important and that without it, it would be difficult for the nation to develop meaningful livelihoods to help enhance the living conditions of the people.

He advised Ghanaians to be law-abiding and appealed to the youth to cooperate with each other and live in peace.
