Avoid dodgy politicians -Imam

lhaji Hamza Danjumah. Volta Regional Chief Imam, has urged Moslem Youth to discount the notion that they were prone to manipulation by dodgy politicians.

He said the youth should vehemently resist overtures by politicians to use them to create violence as the December elections approached.

Alhaji Danjumah said this during the Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the Police Depot Park in Ho on Friday.

He appealed to government to help refurbish some of the public infrastructures in the Ho Zongo.

Mr. Henry Ford Kamel, Volta Regional Minister, said the security was on the alert to curb all electoral related misdemeanors.

Dignitaries at the prayers included Mr Henry Ametefe, Deputy Volta Regional Minister and Dr Archibald Letsa, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ho-Central Parliamentary Candidate.
