Apostolic Church ends 21-Days of fasting and prayers

Koforidua, Aug. 02, GNA – Members of the Apostolic Church of Ghana have ended their 21-days of fasting and prayers which began on July 11.

The 21-day fasting and prayers were held in order to boost their member’s spiritual growth and to renew their commitment to the development of the church and the nation.

At the climax of the service, Pastor Samuel Obeng Manteaw, the Head of the Nima District, called on members to let their Christian lives lead in everything they do saying they should use the strength gained after the fasting to help develop Ghana.

He reminded the members that they were the salt and light of the earth and that they should show truthfulness, honesty and respectfulness in all they do.

He urged members of the church to avoid the politics of insults and corruption.

He said “Christianity is about acknowledging God’s greatness and ensuring the salvation and development of individuals and the country.”

Pastor Adjei Boateng, a guest speaker from Italy, said their waiting upon the Lord for 21 days was soon to result in a miraculous change in their lives.
