Anointing of God is not in prayers alone - Prophet Arjarquah

Prophet Albert Asihene-Arjarquah of the Koforidua Central church of the Assemblies of God, Ghana in the New Juaben Municipality of the Eastern Region has stated that, the anointing of God is not in prayers but rather in His Words.

According to the well-respected Prophet who is also an associate pastor of the church said, many Christians instead of focusing on the word of God which is the pillar of Christianity, they moved from one end to the other for people to pray for them.

Prophet Arjarquah explained that, nothing can be done as a Christian without knowing the word of God; hence one can do all things including the anointing when the person knows the Word.

He has therefore charged Christians to search, dig out and know the Word and use it as their walking stick, move by it and stop going round searching and seeking for anointing through pray for me.

Prophet Arjarquah made the remarks in a sermon during the third week of a 31 day fasting and prayer put together by the church and his ministry known as Prophet Albert Asihene-Arjarquah Ministry (PAAAM).

The power-packed prayer and fasting festival which is under the theme “Breaking Demonic Limitations for Divine Advancement” is a programme designed for members and non-members of the church to strengthen their spiritual growth annually.

About 2,500 people made up of young, old, pregnant women and the sick and from near and afar throng the two storey building auditorium in the three (3) sessions per day (morning, afternoon and evening) every day.

The action packed programme which started on August 19, this year is expected to be climaxed on September 19 with a mega All Night Service with great gospel artists such as Cindy Thompson and Diana Hamond.

Some people, who are coming from comparatively far place and could not afford the bills of hotels or guest house, sleep in the premises of the church after each service.

Many are those who have had their spiritual breakthrough from demonic attacks, financial and much other deliverance.

Preaching on the theme “Our Father Let Not the Wicked Prevail” with bible reading taken from Acts 9:2-9 said when people have been subjected to tribulations by relatives and friends without any course.

H e hinted some people are only interested in and rejoices in perpetuating wickedness against other people including their own, hence charged Christians to believe in God, Know His Words and call Him since there nothing that He cannot do.

According to him, to get out of the snare of the wicked ones is to get closer to God because in Him is everything, adding that, “God is still in the miracle business and anybody who puts himself or herself on Him would not be consumed”.

He was however, quick to express worry over the trend of unhealthy competition in the church as some pastors and leaders of the church chastise their members for attending a sister church for spiritual upliftment.

“The church is dying because there is lack of team work and we fight our members because they attended the church of a sister church. We have to stop that practice since the time has come for us to team up to work for Christ”, he charged.

On Sunday, the church was packed to capacity with a sea of congregants to sing and praise God for the mercy and grace He has demonstrated over their lives.
