SWAG thanks SIC, Primex, NSC and all

Accra, Dec. 6, GNA - The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has expressed appreciation to the support of the State Insurance Company (SIC), Primex Ghana Limited, Accra Hearts of Oak and Liberty Professionals for the successful organization of the 2007 Edition of the H.P. Nyemitei Cup match played the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium on Wednesday, December 5.

A statement from the secretariat of the Association said the success of the event cannot be counted without the immense contributions of the two companies and other stakeholders such as the National Sports Council (NSC), Ghana Football Association (GFA), Professional League Board (PLB) and the Referees Association of Ghana (RAG). It also expressed gratitude to the two Clubs for accepting to participate in the match despite the short notice at their disposal. "We are of the firm conviction that you would not hesitate to participate in future events when you are called upon". The statement added. The Association also congratulated Liberty Professionals for winning the trophy after beating Hearts 3-0 to lift the trophy. 06 Dec. 07
