Binatone Ghana donates to national Skate Soccer team towards Eid ul-Fitr

Binatone Ghana has presented some items to the national Skate Soccer team, the Rolling Rockets.

The gesture which was done in partnership with the International Federation of Skate Soccer is in support of this year’s Eidul-Fitr celebration which is set to come off this weekend for Muslims in Ghana and around the globe.

The electronics giant presented bags of rice, cartons of oil, drinks, meat and tomato to the players at a short ceremony held at Abossey Okai in Accra.

Speaking during the presentation, the Managing Director of Binatone Ghana, Venu Babu, stated that the donation forms part of his outfit’s commitment to the well-being of the team. He also reiterated his company’s desire to ensure that skate soccer becomes one of the country’s foremost sport disciplines.

Venu Babu extended season greetings from staff and management of Binatone to the players and asked for Allah to provide answers to the request they placed before him during the fasting period.

“I bring you season greetings from everyone at Binatone. As we always do, we want to show our love and support to you. These are little tokens from us to you and your family because we believe it will go a long way to help you celebrate Eidul Fitr, Babu told the players and officials.

The President of the International Federation of Skate Soccer (IFSS), Albert Frimpong expressed his appreciation towards Binatone for their immense support by helping to promote skate soccer in the country.

Captain of the Rolling Rockets, Ahmed Gariba, also expressed the team’s gratitude to Binatone for their kind gesture and immeasurable support to make life meaningful to them.

He said the donation will help motivate them and their other colleagues who are still on the streets to make good use of their lives in a dignified manner.
