Tema Youth draw with Accra Great Olympics

Ho, Dec. 24, GNA - Tema Youth held Accra Great Olympics to a goalless drawn game in their Onetouch Premier League encounter at the Ho Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The match, which was largely uneventful produced few chances and a host of wasted scoring chances by both sides.

It was Tema Youth who however came close to scoring in the 24th minute but Abeiku Jeisie's in-swinger hit the crossbar. Olympics also followed up with a chance in the 39th minute but wasted it.

The resolute defense of Tema Youth with Yaya Mohammed and goalkeeper Ernest Sowah stood firm to deny Olympics from scoring any goal.

Olympics came into the second half determined to break the goal famine but fumbled with a couple of chances as they failed to break the resolute defencemen of the Tema Youth. Olympics almost fetched a 90th minute goal but Samuel Laryea failed to head home Michael Ocansey's cross to the disappointment the fans.
