Sportive spank Kessben 3-0

Tema, March 5, GNA - Tema Real Sportive defeated visiting Kessben F/C 3-0 in their match played at the Tema Sports Stadium. Sportive made their intention of winning the match known when Yakubu Mohammed fired a shot off target early in the match. Mohammed atoned for his miss when he scored the opening goal for Sportive in the 18th minute.

Owusu Debrah nearly put Kessben on level terms in the 48th minute but was denied by goalkeeper Ben Teiko who made a great save. As Kessben were getting into their stride, striker Ensme Mends increased the tally to 2-0 in the 60th minute through a header which beat goalkeeper Mohammed Alhassan.

Goal poacher Kennedy Asamoah sealed the doom of the visitors with the third goal in the 62nd minute.

Kessben launched an onslaught in the dying minutes but to no avail as the defenders of Sportive held their attackers in check.
