Premier League resumes today

The GT Premier League would return to action today at all the league centres after its two weeks break. The League was originally scheduled to resume this Wednesday, September, 7, but due to the participation of King Faisal in the Confederation Cup competition, the Professional League Board (PLB) has been compelled to shift the 22nd week league matches to the week-end, according to reports from the offices of the PLB.

Faisal will therefore play their 22nd week game against Real Tamale United (RTU) on their return from Morocco next week, where they are expected to lock horns with FAR of Morocco in the first match of the second round of the competition this week end.

The League will however have the clash between Obuasi AshGold and Accra Hearts of Oak at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium as the top liner. At the Cape Coast Siwdu Park, Ebusua Dwarfs will host troubled Heart of Lions whilst Kumasi Asante Kotoko will welcome Tano Bofoakwa to the Baba Yara Sports stadium in their match.

The Berekum Gold City Park would witness a clash between Berekum Arsenals and Sekondi Hasaacas with Tema Real Sportive battling Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord at the Tema Sports Stadium.

Relegation threatened Okwawu United will have a tough task at hand as they host Power FC at the Mpraeso Brightons Park.

Liberty Professionals look the favourites to pick the maximum points at stake when they clash with another relegation threatened side, Kade Hotspurs at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra.
