Premier League: Hasaacas 2-1 Zaytuna FC

Sekondi Hasaacas beat visiting Zaytuna FC of Accra 2-1 in an Onetouch Premier League match played at Sekondi Gyandu Park on Wednesday. In the 17th minute, Isaac Donkor shot Hasaacas ahead after they had pinned their opponents to their own goal area.

After the goal Zaytuna fought back with their strikers mounting a sustained attack in the Hasaacas goal area but the home side's sheer determination and tactical play enabled them to contain the onslaught. Hasaacas, from the 35th minute bounced back into action and after persistent attacks and in the 43rd minute they earned a penalty which was expertly taken by veteran John Ainoo for the second goal.

Zaytuna were able to regain control of the proceedings and in the 57th minute Frank Boateng was on hand to score the only goal for his side. After the goal, both sides played an uncompromising game with their strikers launching abortive attacks till the final whistle of the match.
