Kotoko ride high over Medeama

Asante Kotoko made it a league double over Medeama in Sunday, beating the Tarkwa side 1-0 at the Sekondi Stadium in the Glo Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors scored on the stroke on halftime through Ben Acheampong who powered in a header from a corner kick.

Kotoko are now four points clear at the top with a tough game following up next for them at the Baba Yara Stadium when they play Liberty Professionals.

Inconsistency has cost Medeama a place at the top of the table as they lie 9th on the standings.
