Kotoko Pip All Blcks

Kumasi Asante Kotoko pipped Gamba All Blacks 1-0 in their One-Touch Premier League match at the Konongo 91Waterloo' Park in the Asante Akim North District on Sunday.

Kotoko scored the lone goal of the match in the ninth minute through Douglas Nkrumah who connected home a cross from George Yamoah, which incidentally turned out to be the match winner Nkrumah had earlier wasted an opportunity in the sixth minute when he messed up with a similar cross from the right winger, Ali Ouadrago of Kotoko nearly got the opener for his side in the early parts of the game but the striker fumbled after All Blacks goalkeeper, Isaac Akom was completely beaten.

In the 21st minute, All Blacks nearly equalised through a defensive blunder by the Kotoko defence but Bismark Ayidan=91s shot was saved by Kotoko's goalkeeper Isaac Amoako.

Both teams came back strongly in the second half but it was All Blacks who had the greater part of the exchanges but failed to get the much needed equaliser.
