Hearts beat Berekum Arsenals 1-0

Cape Coast, Oct. 9, GNA - A goal scored by Mahatma Otu in the sixth minute enabled Accra Hearts of Oak to beat Berekum Arsenals 1-0 in their Premier League match played at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast on Saturday.

After Tamale based referee Mohammed Awal signaled for proceedings to begin it was Hearts who started the match strongly and scored the early goa= l which turned out to be the only goal and the match winner. Otu after receiving a pass from Douglas Nkrumah made no mistake in planting the ball to the blind side of goalkeeper Thomas Tuah in the Arsenals posts.

Back from recess James Boadu, Joseph Akowuah and Bernard Ofori made several attempts to level up the score but tried as they did they could not find the net until full time.
