Hearts/Medeama in a Tango

Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak may have their situation
aggravated this weekend as they play host to Medeama Sporting Club at the Accra
Sports Stadium in the top liner of the Glo week 11 league matches.

The former continental club masters are fourth on the table
with eighteen points whilst the visitors are seventh on the log with fifteen
points. Coach Nebojsa Vucicevic has still not find the right partnership
upfront to do the business (scoring goals) for the phobia fans.

Hearts are gradually loosing their ambition of winning the
Premier league as they have moved one step down the table after playing a
goalless drawn game with Aduana and loosing 0 – 2 to Liberty professionals last
Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Medeama are a very strong side both in midfield and the
attacking third and could pick the three maximum points in this match
especially if their trio (Luis Agyeman, Tanko Mohammed, Hans Kwoffie) should
have the necessary suppliers from the middle.

For Hearts of Oak, their attacking third is gradually
becoming wasteful like the Electricity Company of Ghana which can cut suppliers
to their customers at the least fault but loosing to Medeama on Sunday too means
Hearts are totally out of the race and that is enough to motivate the phobians
to winning the match.

At the Berekum golden city park, relegation threatening
Arsenal will welcome soccer miners, Ashantigold fc. Both clubs are seriously
indebted to their teaming supporters for putting up a woeful performance in
this season especially Ashantigold who have some quality players at their
disposal.

The position of both clubs on the log tells the story on how
bad these two sides are faring in this year’s league. Berekum Arsenal are third
from bottom with just eight point from ten matches whilst Ashantigold are
twelfth with ten points.

Both clubs have no other excuse than to battle for the three
points at stake and Berekum Arsenal who will be playing in front of their teaming
supporters stands the better chance to picking the three maximum points at
stake.

Kotoko stoppers, New Edubiase united will play host to Aduana
stars at their favourite Nana Gyamfi Park in Bekwai. Aduana is quite a strong
side defensively but their attacking third is not clicking as should be
expected but Edubiase on the other hand are quiet rich upfront where they have
their danger man Emmanuel Baffour.

For Aduana to pick a point in Bekwai their back four needs to
keep a-90-minute snap check on the dare-devil Emmanuel Baffour who leads the Glo
Premier League goal king chart with nine goals. Edubiase are ninth on the log
with fifteen points whilst Aduana are sixth with seventeen points. The host is
likely to pick the three points in this match.

Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs will welcome Wa All Stars to the
Cape-Coast Robert Mensah stadium. Dwarfs are fifth on the table with seventeen
points whilst the visitors are third with nineteen points.

Dwarfs until last Wednesday had not lost a match in this
years campaign but the Porcupine Warriors, Asante Kotoko managed to stop their
invincibility with a 1 – 0 win at the Kumasi Baba Yara stadium. Dwarfs are
always strong in Cape-Coast and looks the favorites to picking the three pints
in this encounter.

At the Kpando Park, Hearts of Lions will welcome struggling
Bechem united into the Lions den. Lions are eleventh on the league table with
twelve points whilst Bechem on the other hand are fifteenth with eight points.

Lions are still struggling to find their former form which
earned them the accolade the ‘Giants Killers’ but playing against Bechem
shouldn’t be too much a problem for Lions as loosing the three points in such
matches can always come back to hunt you later in the league.

Bottomed club Wassaman united will play as host to Liberty
professionals at the Essipong stadium in Sekondi. Liberty is seventh on the
table with sixteen points whilst Wassaman are sixteenth on the table with just
four points.

To predict a win for Wassaman in this encounter by any soccer
pundits will be an intellectual doom because comparatively Liberty has all it
takes to win all the three points at stake but you can also not rule surprises
from the game of football.

On Saturday at the Accra Sports stadium, Tema Youth will play
as guest to Mighty Jets. Mighty Jets are thirteenth on the table with nine
points whilst Tema Youth are tenth with thirteen points.

On paper, Tema Youth stands strong but Mighty Jets are also
good and playing at home should motivate them to beating Tema Youth in this
particular match.

PREDICTIONS

Hearts 2 – 1 Medeama

Arsenal 1 – 1 Ashantigold

Edubiase 2 – 0 Aduana

Dwarfs 1 – 0 All Stars

Lions 2 – 0 Bechem

Wassaman 1 – 3 Liberty

M. Jets 1 – 1 T. Youth
