Hasaacas 2-0 Olympics

Sekondi Hasaacas put the smiles back on the faces of their teeming supporters when they managed a hard fought 2-1 victory over visiting Accra Great Olympics in their GT OneTouch Premier League encounter at the Sekondi Gyandu Park on Sunday.

Hasaacas who were determined to win the day, took the fight to the visitors and their efforts paid off when striker John Ainoo scored a classic goal in the 20th minute.

Outside left Fredrick Quayson of the home side was on target 10 minutes later to score the second goal to give his side a comfortable lead in the first half of the game.

On resumption of the second half, Olympics changed their game pattern and went ahead to pin their opponents to their own half but they failed to find the net until the 70th minute when Andi Pomayi found the net to reduce the tally to 2-1.

Olympics from then on displayed the fighting stuff as they dominated play in all departments of the game but were unlucky not to find the equaliser till the final whistle.
