Faisal beat RTU

Accra, June 11, GNA - Kuasi-based King Faisal returned to their winning ways when they chalked a 2-0 victory over Real Tamale United at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday in their 24th Week encounter of the Onetouch Premier League.

A well composed Faisal scored a goal in each half of the game to grab the three maximum points at stake. Abraham Bassit opened the scores in the 32nd minute when he lobbed the ball over keeper Charles Kipo after intercepting a pass in the defence of the visitors.

Abdul Samad Oppong made amends to score the second goal for his side in the 59th minute after connecting a cross from Basit but Ebo Andoh could have made it three for Faisal but he missed target narrowly to end a dismal performance by RTU.
