Eleven Wise draws with Berekum Arsenals

Essipong, (W/R) April 2, GNA - Sekondi Eleven Wise and visiting Berekum Arsenal shared the points when they drew 1-1 in their Glo Premier League 15 Week match at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipong. Both sides engaged in serious exchanges after the kick-off but it was not until the 30th minute that Eric Owusu managed to put Wise in the lead with a straight shot. Arsenals did not give Wise much room to manoeuvre after the goal and kept piling up pressure. This paved the way for Frank Yeboah to equalize for the visitors in the 40th minute through a free kick just outside the penalty area of Wise. The match became a close contest in the second half with both sides exploiting all avenues in search of they winning goal but to no avail. Wise were on top of proceedings for the last 20 minutes of the match with Arsenals defending solidly to ensure they picked a point in the match. 01 April 09
