Chelsea to test the wrath of Kotoko

Berekum Chelsea travel to the Garden City to face the wounded Asante Kotoko whose virginity in this year’s Ghana Premier League was broken last Sunday at the Bechem Park by Bechem fc.

This match is a-must-win for the Porcupine Warriors to restore the hope of their supporters as they trip to the Volta Region to face Hearts of Lions this weekend.

Kotoko still tops the ladder with 18 points whiles Chelsea is at the twelfth position with 6 points. On the face of results, one can conclude that Chelsea is experiencing their worst season since they joined the premiership and must try all means possible to wrestle at least a point from Kotoko.

Kotoko looks the better side to carry the three points but if Chelsea should have their day then the former Champions League campaigners can pose a threat for the fabulous boys.

At the Accra Sports Stadium, the scientific soccer lads, Liberty Professionals will play as guest to Hearts of Oak.

Hearts is second on the log with 16 points whiles Liberty Professionals is seventh with 11 points. Liberty always give Hearts a good run for their money but normally fails to take the three points from the phobians so if history is anything to go by then Hearts will carry the day.

Soccer miners Ashantigold fc will also make a journey to the Osagyefo Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa to play Aduana Stars. Ashantigold is third on the table with 15 points whiles Aduana is eighth with 10 points.

New Edubiase united will welcome Hearts of Lions at the Gyamfi Park. Edubiase is joggling on the table with 6 points while Lions are fifth on the log with 12 points. Lions will be strong for Edubiase but the home side will run away with a narrow win.

At the Tarkwa T&A Park Medeama Sporting Club will host new entrant Amidaus Professionals. Medeama is ninth on the ladder with 8 points whiles Amidaus are sixth with 11 points.

Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs will play as host to Kumasi based King Faisal at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast. Dwarfs are eleventh on the table with 7 points whiles King Faisal is second from bottom with 6 points.

Sekondi Hasaacas will travel up north to play as guest to All Stars. All Stars are tenth on the table with 7 points whiles Hasaacas is fourteenth with 6 points.

Bottomed club Inter Allies will play as host to fourth placed Bechem fc who managed to stop Kotoko’s renaissance. Inter Allies are yet to clinch a point in the season and I see them doing so in this match.
