IPMC Hockey League: Financiers Beat Multistix in 7-Goal Thriller

Financiers once again confirmed their dominance over rivals Multistix with a 4-3 victory in their league match played last Saturday.

Multistix, with the painful 0-4 defeat to the Financiers during the gala very much on their minds, pushed-off aggressively seeking to settle the scores. The front-line and midfield of Financiers however took control of the game right from the start, making incursions into the Multistix goal area. Financiers took a 4-2 lead earlier in the second half, but Multistix took the game to their opponents contesting for superiority in the midfield. In the latter part of the match, Multistix stepped their dominance and in the process pulled a goal back to reduce the tally to 4-3. Financiers thus stay on top of the log with a perfect record and a 5 point margin. The full results were as follows:
