The Greater Accra hockey League is scheduled to kick off in two weeks time after a delayed start.

Executives of the hockey association have concluded discussions with mobile phone service providers, SpacefonAreeba for a deal reported to be worth 300 million cedis.

The league would be preceded by a gala this Saturday.

The chairman of the greater Accra hockey association, Frank Awuku says with the association?s annual general meeting now out of the way, they have drawn up a comprehensive program for the new season.
