MTN to climax golfing year with Invitational Tourney

Telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana Limited, would climax their golfing year with an MTN Invitational Golf Tournament at the Tema Country Golf Club.

About 100 amateur golfers from all golf clubs in the country would converge at the venue on Friday, November 30, 2018 for what is termed the biggest golf gathering in the country.

They will compete in an 18-hole event tournament for trophies and other souvenirs from the sponsors.

The event is scheduled to tee-off at 11am with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MTN Ghana Limited, Selorm Adadevoh, expected to take the ceremonial tee-off.

The tournament would be held under the theme, ‘MTN Business, your partner for enterprise solutions and more’.

According to the MTN Ghana, the competition would afford them the opportunity to interact with members from the business community as golf is seen as a gathering of the business class.

It would also give them the opportunity to sell their innovative products especially MTN Business Solutions to the golfers who would be playing and striking deals on the golf course.

MTN expressed their gratitude to all the golfers who have participated in the MTN Invitational tournaments since the beginning of the year and assured them of a good event come November 30.

The Finder’s checks with management of the Tema Country Golf Club indicated that the club was ready to host the tournament and urged all golfers to confirm their participation for a successful event.

They said they were honoured to be chosen as host for the end of year event and assured MTN and the general public of a good time at the Country Golf Club.
