Airtel sponsors Ghana Golf Open

Telecommunication brand of the year, Airtel Ghana, has been named title sponsor of this year’s prestigious Ghana Golf Open 2015 being organised by the Ghana Golf Association.

The three day championship is powered by Airtel Business, the business oriented sub brand of Airtel Ghana which is leading the drive in Ghana to provide next generation business communications solutions to enterprises – small, medium and large.

The event, the flagship golf championship on the Ghanaian golf calendar comes off at the newly refurbished Achimota Golf Club, from September 19 to 21, 2015 under the distinguished patronage of Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin II as the special guest of honour.

The Championship will showcase Ghanaian talents, pitted against the best from the Sub region – Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone and Gambia.

The National Director of Golf for Ghana and prolific PGA Golf professional Steven Wilson expressed his excitement and expectation for the championship. He said “We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome Airtel Ghana as a sponsor of the Ghana Golf Open.”
