Coca Cola June Monthly Medal Golf to resume

Accra, June 3, GNA - Achimota Golf Club is to revamp its sponsored June monthly Medal Golf competition this year. The competition which has not been played for the past four years will be sponsored by Coca Cola Ghana Limited scheduled for Saturday, June 20 at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra. Mr Emmanuel Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club in a press release copied to GNA Sports on Wednesday said the June Monthly Medal is to be used to select the first 60 players on merit to participate in the Achimota Match-play He said the event has now been dubbed UT Bank/Achimota Match-play because it would be sponsored by the UT Bank. Mr Oteng-Aboagye urged all members of the Achimota Golf Club and other regular players of other Golf Clubs such as the Celebrity, Tema Country and Bok Nam Kim Clubs in an around Accra to take note of the important selection exercise to attned in their numbers.
