Tema Golf meet Celebrity on July 28

Tema, July 18, GNA-Tema Country Golf Club will play Celebrity Golf Club in an Inter-Club Match-Play Championship on Saturday, July 28. Mr. William Asiedu Yeboah, Captain of the Tema Country Golf Club, who announced this at Tema on Wednesday, said the one-day 18-Hole event, was aimed at strengthening the already existing cordial relationship between the two clubs.

He said plans were very far advanced to engage other golf clubs in similar encounters as a way of strengthening the relationships. He named some of the players who will be playing for Tema as Alex Fiagomey, Felix Owusu-Adjapong and John Nyamadi. The Celebrity team, which will be led by their Captain, Joe Ohemeng include Abdul-Aziz Amanlwa and Kwasi Opoku. At stake is a magnificent trophy.
