Tema Golf Club Medal comes off on Sep. 2

Tema, Aug. 28, GNA -- The September Medal Championship of Tema Country Golf Club tees off at Tema on Saturday, September 2. Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, Chief Executive Officer of the club who announced this at Tema on Monday, said 100 golfers are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition. It is open to amateur golfers from Tema, Achimota, Celebrity and Bok Nam Kim Golf Clubs.

Mr Adablanu said even though the event is a Club affair, other sister clubs have been invited to enable the participants sharpen their strokes.

He named some of the participants who had registered for the event, which is being sponsored by the Tema Golf Club, as William Yeboah, Kofi Gyau, Felix Owusu-Adjapong and Alex Fiagomey all of Tema. The junior members of the Club would battle each other in a nine hole event starting at 0800 hours.

The first three winners in each category would receive handsome prizes from the Club.
