Tema Golf Club Elections on Saturday

Tema, Dec. 18, GNA - All is set for the Tema Country Golf Club election scheduled for Saturday, December 23.

Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, Chief Executive Officer of the club, who announced this at Tema on Monday, said the new executive members who would be elected, would replace the old ones whose tenure of office ends on December 31, 2006.

He named the positions to be contested, for as Captain, Vice Captain, Treasurer, Secretary, Competition Secretary and a House Member. The club would hold a one-day 18-hole Medal Play competition as a prelude to the election.

The club would round off activities of the year with the Afariwaah Estates and Farms Invitation scheduled for Saturday, December 30. Meanwhile, Celebrity Golf Club's December Medal Championship will be played at Sakumono near Tema on Saturday, December 23.

Mr Ato Endman, Resident General; Manager of the club, who announced this at Sakumono on Monday, said 100 golfers drawn from the Greater Accra Region are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition.

Celebrity Golf Club is sponsoring the event
