Tema Golf Captain's Prize on Saturday

Tema, Feb. 17, GNA - This year's Tema Country Golf Club Captain's Prize competition tees off at Tema on Saturday, February 21. A spokesman for the club, who announced this at Tema on Tuesday, said the one-day 18-Hole stable-ford competition which is open to amateur golfers from Tema, Achimota, Celebrity and Bok Nam Kim golf clubs, all in the Greater Accra Region, is being sponsored by Mr Alex Yayra Fiagomey, Captain of the Tema Golf Club.

More than 100 golfers are expected to participate in the event, which has very attractive prizes at stake.

Essau Amezando, the Golden Tulip Cup holder has promised his fans to add the Captain's prize to his credit and would have to battle crack golfers like John Cobbina, former Captain of Tema Golf Club, Nick Smallman, E.K. Henaku and Michael Aggrey.

Achimota Golf Club would on Saturday, February 28, hold their President's Putter event at Achimota.
